Where We Live

District 65

Kansas District 65 is the proud home of Fort Riley, Milford Lake, Milford Nature Center, Milford Fish Hatchery, the Tallgrass Nature Trail, and 18 parks.  It is located in Geary County in the beautiful Flint Hills on the Kansas River.  Nature’s beauty is everywhere!

District 65 includes the cities of Junction City, Grandview Plaza, Milford, and part of Fort Riley.

This is a great place to grow up and raise a family.  As well as having so many places to enjoy nature, there is everything a young person and family could want.  Near Kansas State University, it includes 7 school districts with a 93% graduation rate (US Census Bureau, 2020 census and 2020 ACS data).

There are plenty of opportunities for employment all within 1 mile of a public airport and 14 miles of a commercial airport.  This is where you can go to raise a strong and happy family.
